The Imagination Club – Homeschool Art Program

Tuesdays | September – June | 6-Week Sessions
Ages 5-9: 12:30pm-1:45pm
Ages 10-15: 2:00pm-3:30pm

The Imagination Club is our homeschool art program—a place to explore a variety of art materials, develop new skills, and learn different techniques. Retired NYS art teacher Melissa and her daughter, Maria, lead the program. Students also have the opportunity to showcase their creativity in twice-yearly art shows. Our first session begins September 22.

First Friday Craft Club

Ages 18+ Welcome!

Enjoy an evening of crafting and connection for adults! Join our resident art instructor, Melissa, as she guides you through a craft project with all materials provided. This is an ongoing club—register for the months that work for you! Upcoming events will be held Nov 6 and Dec 4. Stay connected on our website and social media for monthly class project details. Kids Club is available for child care.

Babysitting Course

Ages 11-17 Welcome!

This hands-on course introduces the fundamentals of babysitting, including child development milestones, emergency preparedness, parent expectations, and real-life scenarios practiced through role play. Each student will receive a handbook, a tote bag of activities, and a certificate of completion. Please note: CPR and First Aid certification are not included in this course.

Girls Rock Welcome Night

Our Girls Rock Welcome Night is the perfect opportunity for youth and parents/guardians to come see what the program is all about! Learn about our mission to empower and inspire young girls in a supportive and inclusive environment. This is a FREE event, open to previous and new Girls Rock participants. No registration is required.

Pumpkin Bobbing

Ages 3+ Welcome!

Dive into fall fun with Pumpkin Bobbing at the Y! Find the perfect pumpkin to take home, along with a special goodie bag! Children who cannot swim independently must be accompanied by an adult in the pool.

Pumpkin Carving Night

Ages 5+ Welcome!

Carve and decorate a pumpkin to help light up our trail at the YMCA Halloween Party! This is a family event—children and their grown-ups will work together to create a pumpkin masterpiece. Little ones who aren’t ready to carve can decorate one of our plastic milk jugs instead. Pumpkins and carving supplies will be provided.

Halloween At The Y

All Ages Welcome!

Join us for a spooktacular evening of family fun at the YMCA’s Halloween Party! Our annual family-friendly event is FREE and open to the community! Enjoy games, crafts, music, treats, face painting, and a wagon ride. Come dressed in costume and enter our costume contest! This year’s theme is Vintage Halloween Circus.

Staying Home Alone Course

Wednesday, November 11
9:30am-11:00am
Ages 8-14 Welcome!

Join us to learn the essentials of staying home alone. This course covers parent expectations, basic safety, and more. Participants will enjoy light refreshments and receive a take-home folder along with a certificate of completion.
